Se imparte en nuestras universidades la Diplomatura en Dietética y Nutrición Humana. El presente trabajo estudia la oferta lectiva para ver si las enseñanzas conducentes a dicho título oficial proporcionan una formación adecuada para su desarrollo profesional ya sea en el ámbito clínico, de atención primaria , comunitario o de la salud pública. Se han comparado los créditos totales de la licenciatura (valores medios), por curso y asignatura y analizado el porcentaje de troncalidad, obligatoriedad, optatividad y libre configuración. Se han reunido las asignaturas en materias troncales para su mejor estudio. El número de créditos totales de la diplomatura es de 196,44 con una desviación estandar (D.E.) de 11,73. El área temática que tiene un mayor peso en el itinerario curricular es la de Dietética y Nutrición con un 27,03 % del total de créditos, esta área corresponde principalmente con las asignaturas de Dietética, Dietoterapia y Nutrición. Tras el análisis de los resultados el itinerario curricular debería ser suficiente para proporcionar una formación adecuada en las bases teóricas y en las técnicas de elaboración de los regímenes alimenticios adecuados a la nutrición humana.

Diploma in Human Nutrition and Dietetics is distributed in our universities. The present work studies the lective supply to see if the conducive lessons to this official title provide a formation adapted for their professional development or in the clinical, of primary attention, communitarian scope or of the public health. The total credits of the degree have been compared (average values), by course and subjet and analyzed the percentage of main, obligatory nature, optativity and free choice. The subjets in great thematic areas for their better study have met. The number of total credits of the diploma is 196.44 with a standard deviation (S.D.) of 11.73. The thematic area that has a greater weight in the curricular itinerary is Nutrition and Dietetics with 27.03 % of the total of credits, this area corresponds mainly with the subjets of Dietetic, Dietotherapy and Nutrition. After the analysis of the results the curricular itinerary must be sufficient to provide a formation adapted in the theoretical bases and the techniques of elaboration of the suitable nutritional regimes to the human nutrition.
