This book contains the Proceedings of the Spanish Relativity Meeting 2002 (Encuentros Relativistas Españoles, or ERE-2002), celebrated in Maó (Menorca, Balearic Islands) in September 22-24 2002. This was the 26th consecutive edition of the Conference series, initiated in 1977. In this occasion, the organisers of the event put emphasis on the emerging field of Gravitational Waves and Cosmology, including however expert reviews on other active fields of current research, such as braneworld cosmolgy and quantum gravity. The first part of the volume contains ten contributions from as many invited plenary speakers; these are mostly updated reviews on their respective fields of activity. The second part includes shorter and more specialised reports on the authors' recent research results. A list of participants and contact addresses is provided as well.
