CARL J. MORA

(Ph. D.) teaches film history at the University of New Mexico and The College of Santa Fe. He is author of Mexican Cinema: Reflections of a Society, 1896-1988 (Berkeley: University of California Press, 1990; new edition, 2004).
He has published articles on the relationship between Cinema and History, and is this journal's Website Editor in the USA. He was also director of two international seminars on Spanish cinema at the University of Barcelona (1993, 1997), and translated the first FILM-HISTORIA book The Spanish Cinema. An Historical Approach (1987).
