JOHN MRAZ (Ph. D.). Research Professor of the Instituto de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, Universidad Antónoma de Puebla (Mexico).
Author of several historical videotape documentaries, his most recent publications include Uprooted: Braceros in the Hermanos Mayo Lens (1996).
He was recently Guest Editor of two issues: Visual Culture in Latin America (Tel Aviv University, 1998), and Cinema and History in Latin America (University of Barcelona, 1999).
